After years of renovations, the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce and the Venango County Economic Development Authority welcomed a crowd of about 50 people to their new home on the recently opened fifth floor of 100 Seneca Street in Oil City for a ribbon cutting event on Thursday.
Many visitors commented on the modern office space and excellent views of downtown Oil City.
Attendees toured the host’s office spaces, as well as a small conference room, a large conference room, a co-working space and a makers space. They were also shown two more offices, which are available for rent on the fifth floor.
The Venango County commissioners said much of the credit for the newly opened fifth floor goes to Economic Development Authority Executive Director Emily Lewis, and her predecessor Jason Ruggiero.
Ruggiero said that, at first, it was surreal seeing the fifth floor finished and in use.
